New Santa Barbara Institute Program Director
Kimberley Snow, an active member of the Santa Barbara community, will be serving as the the Santa Barbara Institute's new Program Director. In 2008, Dr. Snow will be organizing our series of six week-long retreats.
Kimberley Snow taught English for many years at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is the author of several books including In Buddha’s Kitchen: Cooking, Being Cooked, and other Adventures in a Retreat Center (Shambhala). Since 2005 she has served as the administrator of the Vairotsana Foundation, Santa Barbara. In the ‘90’s, she and her husband, the poet Barry Spacks, moved to Northern California where they lived for six years studying with Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche.
